Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund Has Record Year

The Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund has received a record high of more than 82 million dollars in contributions for fiscal year 2007-2008. In addition more new movies shown in theaters became attached to the Fund during the last year than in any year in the Fund's 45 year history.

Deadline is June 1 for changing Personal Info at Film Fund

The Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund is actively preparing for the upcoming July 1, 2008 disbursement.

During the last year, Administrator Dennis Dreith and his staff have been hard at work collecting funds on behalf of musicians and now they need our help.

If you have had a change of: address, marital status, beneficiary designation, withholding information or would like to start or terminate direct deposit status you need to inform the Fund soon.

For the upcoming distribution, the Deadline is JUNE 1st for Direct Deposit Enrollment/Changes as well as signing on to the GO PAPERLESS option. JUNE 1st  is also the Deadline for updating TAX INFORMATION, MARITAL STATUS, BENEFICIARY INFO, and most importantly for those of you receiving your distributions by mail, updating your ADDRESS.

If you are registered, many of these changes can be made online in the Private Area Members Section at the Fund’s website www.fmsmf.org. Some changes however, require back-up and/or signatures, and those must be done either by snail-mail, fax, or in person. That information is also available at the website, even if you are not registered.

If you are not registered, RMA International recommends that you take the time to do so. In addition to being able to update your personal information, you can print current and prior statements and communicate with the FUND in a secure manner.  Tax Forms are no longer available online but can easily be obtained by contacting the Fund’s Participant Services Department.

The Fund estimates that the final statements will be available online 7 to 10 days prior to the July 1 distribution.
